I shared one of mine and Tyler’s favorite green smoothie recipes last year, and since then I’ve made a few adjustments to the recipe. We’ve really tried to cut as much sugar out of our diet as possible. This is not always easy, but over time we’ve slowly tried to wean ourselves off unnecessary sugars. But we’re realistic, we won’t say no to a slice of cake every once in a while....
My sweet friend Marika finally got me to try homemade almond milk after sending me the cutest homemade do-it-yourself kit and now we’re addicted to making it.

I can’t begin to wrap my head around the amount of travel we’re doing over the next few months. Just typing the words stresses me out a little. But if our busy schedule wasn’t already enough, it’s also the holiday season, and because every year the holidays seem to sneak up on me I decided to get a head start early November… Or at least attempt to.
My first order of business… Christmas cards.
I’m currently living out my fall days in these blush boots, and I’m glad you guys have been just as excited about them as I am. But let’s be honest, who knows what’ll be in my shopping cart by the time I finish this post. Kidding… But right now I’m loving these over the knee peep-toe suede boots, and I take them on the road with me almost every weekend. They go with pretty much everything from cutoff shorts & a t-shirt, dresses or skirts, and oversized sweaters/sweater dresses.

Ever wonder how to politely tell your house guests not to wipe off their makeup with your fabulous white washcloths?… Boom. Here’s your answer.
I was so tired of ruining all my pretty washcloths from taking off my makeup, and finally decided to do something about it. I found and bought these MUST HAVE black makeup washcloths off Amazon.
I got the idea from a hotel I’d stayed at that had some similar to these (genius, by the way), and I got sets for every room in the house.

New York City is always booming with great restaurants, shopping and fun activities. It’s the hustle & bustle, the people, (the shopping…that’s a given), and the excitement from sun up to sun down that makes this one of my favorite cities.
We spent more time in NY last month than we did at home. From my first few solo days with my girls, to ending the month with our FGL fam & the boys album release, last month was crazy to say the least… Crazy exciting & crazy busy.
Nestled in the Smoky Mountains is a little slice of heaven, though more famously known as Blackberry Farm. Tyler and I were lucky enough to celebrate our 1 year anniversary, hidden away in the mountains far from the distractions and busyness of our usual hectic day-to-day schedules.
From the second we arrived, everything was perfect down to every last detail, including a welcome package for Harley, a personal golf cart to explore the property, our favorite cocktails, and of course an experience like none other.
Although Nashville is where I call home, there will always be a little piece of my heart that belongs to Cali! I don’t get to LA as often as I’d like, but when I do, I always make it a point to stop at a few of my favorite restaurants and shops during my often very short stay. So with my most recent girls trip, I thought I’d share with you guys a few of my most recent faves from the west coast!

One thing all of us gals have in common is… Our period. This is the one thing we can all relate to. It’s the inevitable and dreaded time of the month where acne flares up, we feel bloated, uncomfortable and when we often just don’t feel sexy in our own skin.
I recently went off of birth control, and no, not because we are trying to have a baby, but because I just wanted to feel like my natural self without extra hormones running through my body. Though feeling like my natural self again means I’m feeling all the symptoms that birth control used to help subside… Intense cramping, serious bloating, back pain, and an extremely foggy brain. I had forgotten what a “real period” felt like. It’s awful… period!
